What this site is
Alberta Events Buzz is an event-discovery service. We gather publicly available event listings from organizers, venues, and ticket sellers across Alberta and present them in one catalogue with links to each event’s own pages.
Accuracy of event information
Event details — including dates, times, venues, prices, offers, and ticket status — are shown as the source publishes them and can change or contain errors at the source, and events can be postponed or cancelled without notice. Always confirm final details on the event’s own page before you travel or book. We correct or remove listings when we learn they are wrong; contact us via the Contact page.
We do not sell tickets
Alberta Events Buzz does not sell tickets, hotel rooms, or anything else. Purchases happen on third-party websites (ticket sellers, organizers, booking sites) under their own terms, prices, and refund policies. We are not responsible for those transactions, and any questions about an order belong with the seller.
Affiliate relationships
Some outbound links (for example, hotel links provided by Stay22) may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate relationships never change which booking link an event shows: “Book tickets” is used only for a verified ticket-seller page for that exact event, and “Find ticket page” otherwise.
Ownership of content
Event names, descriptions, and details belong to their respective organizers and sources. The Alberta Events Buzz name, design, and original content on this site belong to Alberta Events Buzz. Organizers who want a listing corrected or removed can reach us via the Contact page and we will act promptly.
Event submissions — your licence to us
When you submit an event through our Add Event form — including any flyer, banner, logo, or other image you attach — you keep full ownership of your materials, and you grant Alberta Events Buzz a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce those materials for the purpose of listing and promoting your event on this website and on Alberta Events Buzz social channels (for example, showing your flyer on the event’s listing or in a post about the event). You may revoke this licence at any time by asking us to remove the materials, and we will take them down promptly. By submitting, you confirm that you hold the rights needed to grant this licence — that the materials are yours to share, or that you have the rights holder’s permission. If a rights holder contacts us about submitted materials, we will remove them on request.
Privacy
How we handle personal information — including event submissions and newsletter subscriptions — is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Acceptable use
Use the site for personal event discovery. Do not scrape the catalogue for republication, attempt to disrupt the service, or misrepresent your affiliation with Alberta Events Buzz.
Liability
The site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Alberta Events Buzz is not liable for losses arising from reliance on event information, from third-party websites, or from event changes or cancellations. These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada.
