CPKC Holiday Train

The CPKC Holiday Train stops in Canmore on its 2026 cross-Canada tour. The roughly 1,000-foot train, covered in hundreds of thousands of LED lights, pulls in and a modified boxcar opens into a stage for a free outdoor concert by Sam Roberts Band and Owen Riegling (6:00-6:30 p.m.). Admission is free; local food banks collect food and cash donations at the stop, and every donation stays in the community.
